sickgirl40 @ 07:09 pm: Unknown disease
I have been dealing with an unknown autoimmune disease since 2010. It started with more starting to fall and not Being able to feel temp and sensation on my left leg then it jumped to my right leg. It then went all the way up my body to the top of my head. Then I started to get eye pain and losing my eye sight that is when I was told I have optic neuritis. I have been in and out of the hospital and had test after test done and still nothing. Right now I am considered legally blind in my left eye and my right eye is not doing very good. I am now having problems walking on my right side and am very scared.

Oh dear. This sounds nasty for you. Obvious question: have you been tested for multiple sclerosis? Common tests for that include lumbar puncture (spinal tap) which btw doesn't hurt, and brain scan which just means lying still inside a big tube for a few minutes. If you have MS, the drugs are pretty good these days and there are good comms on LJ.

Thank you for your concern. Yes I have been tested for MS and have been told I do not have it and that what I have is too aggressive to be MS. One doctor thinks it is NMO or Devic's syndrome but I don't have all the criteria to be diagnosed with it and it is not curable and is usually fatal.i am getting worse and I am so frustrated that no doctor can find out what is going on.

Oh my. If you want to, you could ask the good folk on friendly_crips. I can't guarantee that anybody will have an answer for you but it sounds as though you could do with a little kindness.
